CIRCULAR MOTION

CIRCULAR MOTION DEFINITION

The motion of partical along the circumference of circle is called circular motion . Circular motion is of two type uniform circular motion and non-uniform circular motion .

Uniform circular motion

The motion of particle in which its speed remains constant is called uniform circular motion.

 Non uniform circular motion

the circular motion of particle average speed of particle goes on changing use cal non uniform circular motion.

Angular displacement

An angle traced by a radius vector at the centre of the circle is called angular displacement, Angular displacement is represented by ๐šน its unit is radian is direction is given by Right Hand Thumb Rule.

Angular velocity

The rate of change of angular displacement with respect to time is called angular velocity.
Its unit is rad/sec and distance is along the axis of circular motion and given by Right hand Thumb Rule.

Angular acceleration

The rate of change of angular velocity with respect to time is angular acceleration. Its unit is rad/sec square and distance is given by Right Hand Thumb Rule.

Time period

Time taken by a particle performing uniform circular motion to complete one Revolution is called time period.

Frequency

The number of revolution completed by a particle performing uniform circular motion in one second is called frequency. The frequency and time period are always reciprocal of each other.

Centripetal force

A force acting on a particle performing circular motion along the radius and towards the centre of circle is called centripetal force.

Centrifugal force

A force acting on a particle performing circular motion along the radius and away from the centre of circle is call centrifugal force.

Banking of road

The phenomena of raising the outermost edge of the road at the higher level as compared to inner edge at curved road is called banking of road.

 Angle of Banking

The angle made by a road surface with horizontal at curved road is called an Angle of Banking.

 Conical pendulum

A simple pendulum in which a bob makes a horizontal circle and string makes a cone is called conical pendulum.

Satellite What is satellite and satellite easy definition ?  In Physics, An object revolving around the planet in a particular orbit is called satellite. There are two types of satellite are  Natural satellite and Artificial satellite. The moon is a natural satellite of the earth. The manmade satellite like Aryabhatta ,Nirbhaya , Chandrodaya etc. revolving around the earth are known as artificial satellite. Launching of satellite 1 . For projection of satellite minimum two stage rocket is used the satellite is keeping at  the tip of the rocket and the first stage of fuel is ignited on the surface of the Earth  so that rocket rises to a desired height above the surface of Earth. 2 . When satellite attains desired height the first stage of rocket is detached and the rocket is rotated to 90 degree with the help of remote control. 3 . After that the fuel in the second stage of rocket is ignited so that it is projected in horizontal direction. 4 . When the fule in ...
