Centripetal force & Centrifugal force What is centripetal force ? Centripetal force definition :- A force acted on a particle performing circular motion along the radius and towards the centre of circle is called centripetal force. As there is no displacement in direction of centripetal force hence it does not perform any work. Centripetal force is also called real force. Centripetal force is given by (formula of centripetal force) Fc= mv sq/r  Example for centripetal force (1) Moon revolve around the earth  in circular circular orbit. A centripetal force required for the circular motion of the Moon is provided by a gravitational force of attraction between Earth and Moon. (2) In atom electron revolves around the nucleus in circular orbit. The centripetal force required for the motion of electrons is provided by electrostatic force of attraction between positive charge nucleus and negative charge electron. (3) It is a real force arising from gravitational or electrom...

Definition and Formules                                    CIRCULAR MOTION CIRCULAR MOTION DEFINITION The motion of partical along the circumference of circle is called circular motion . Circular motion is of two type uniform circular motion and non-uniform circular motion . Uniform circular motion The motion of particle in which its speed remains constant is called uniform circular motion.  Non uniform circular motion  the circular motion of particle average speed of particle goes on changing use cal non uniform circular motion. Angular displacement An angle traced by a radius vector at the centre of the circle is called angular displacement, Angular displacement is represented by 𝚹 its unit is radian is direction is given by Right Hand Thumb Rule. Angular velocity The rate of change of angular displacement with respect to time is called angular velocity. Its unit is rad/sec and di...
