Centripetal force definition :- A force acted on a particle performing circular motion along the radius and towards the centre of circle is called centripetal force. As there is no displacement in direction of centripetal force hence it does not perform any work. Centripetal force is also called real force. Centripetal force is given by (formula of centripetal force) Fc= mv sq/r  Example for centripetal force (1) Moon revolve around the earth  in circular circular orbit. A centripetal force required for the circular motion of the Moon is provided by a gravitational force of attraction between Earth and Moon.
